Filmfront was founded 2005 by the friends Georg Götmark and David Herdies. Since then Filmfront has grown to become a professional film and TV production-company driven by a wide network of creative people, and with a branch in Nairobi, Kenya. The company has since the beginning focused on productions that in different ways reflect and comment on our time and society, often addressing a global audience. Today Filmfront consists of a wide network of producers, directors, editors, cinematographers, script-writers, dramaturgs, 3D-artists and art-directors.

Filmfront has been producing and directing mainly their own documentaries, but since the end of 2009 they have opened up for productions made by external directors. Read more about the different projects here and directors on this side.

FIlmfront has collaborated in their productions with SVT, UR, DR2, NRK, ART/ZDF, NZTV. Their productions have been supported by among others Swedish Film Insitute, The Swedish Arts Grants Committee, The Royal Institute of Art, Olof Palmes Minnesfond. Filmfront is part of the European Documentary Network, Independent Filmmakers Association and board-member of Filmcentrum.
