Georg Götmark

Director & Producer

Georg Götmark founded Filmfront in 2006 together with David Herdies. He had previously worked as a photographer and production assistant on Peter Torbiörnsson's documentary The Last Lacondones, which was filmed in Chiapas Mexico. He had also studied film in Barcelona, and Cultural Studies at Stockholm University.

Georg has produced and directed Citizen Oketch, a feature length documentary about a family in the slums of Nairobi, that was shown on Arte and on different festivals. He has also produced and directed short documentaries that have been shown on TV in Scandinavia: Transit Tanger, a film about Moroccan refugees and Fuck Tolerance which was awarded at the Copenhagen Videomarathon. Georg has also worked as a reporter/producer for UR - the Swedish Educational Public Service channel.
